We all experience challenges, disappointments, trials, pain, and sorrow. People who live long on earth will go through trials and tests. However, Jesus left us an example including the bible of people who went through and came out victorious. Situations can be alarming, but God is our escape.
1 Corinthians 10:13 Message: 13 No test or temptation that comes your way is beyond the course of what others have had to face. All you need to remember is that God will never let you down; he’ll never let you be pushed past your limit; he’ll always be there to help you come through it.
Praise God daily.
Psalm 34:1: I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
Psalm 100:4: 4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
Psalm 16:11: You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; In Your right hand, there are pleasures forevermore.
Pray continally.
Luke 18:1 Amplified: Now Jesus was telling the disciples a parable to make the point that at all times they ought to pray and not give up and lose heart,
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 NIV:16 Rejoice always, 17 pray continually, 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
Remain humble and repentant daily.
2 Chronicles 7:14:4 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
James 4:10 Amplified:10 Humble yourselves [with an attitude of repentance and insignificance] in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you [He will lift you up, He will give you purpose].
Meditate on the word and declare it daily.
Proverbs 4:21-23: 21 Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them amid your heart;
22 For they are life to those who find them And health to all their flesh.23 Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life.
John 8:31-32: 31 So Jesus was saying to the Jews who had believed Him, “If you abide in My word [continually obeying My teachings and living by them, then] you are truly My disciples. 32 And you will know the truth [regarding salvation], and the truth will set you free [from the penalty of sin].”
Joshua 1:8 NLT: 8 Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do.
Obey God.
James 1:22-25 Amplified Version: 22 But prove yourselves doers of the word [actively and continually obeying God’s precepts], and not merely listeners [who hear the word but fail to internalize its meaning], deluding yourselves [by unsound reasoning contrary to the truth]. 23 For if anyone only listens to the word without obeying it, he is like a man who looks very carefully at his natural face in a mirror; 24 for once he has looked at himself and gone away, he immediately forgets what he looked like. 25 But he who looks carefully into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and faithfully abides by it, not having become a [careless] listener who forgets but an active doer [who obeys], he will be blessed and favored by God in what he does [in his life of obedience].
It is nothing new. You know what to do!
Prayer: Thank you God for being all knowing. You left me an example through Jesus to follow in your footsteps. I repent for panicking and allowing circumstances to get the best of me. You brought me out of many situations before even when I was not faithful.God I trust in your faithfulness. I am doer of your word. God I thank you for bringing me through every trial. You always casuses me to triumph through you. In Jesus name! Amen!
