A Mother’s Lessons Are A Lifetime of Blessings!

It will be 10 months on May 24th since my mom passed and her  birthday is this week. Her lessons she taught me still leaves behind an impact. It speaks even louder now more than ever. What legacy we leave behind is worth more than what money can buy.

Mom godly principles

Proverbs 1:8-9: Pay close attention, friend, to what your father tells you; never forget what you learned at your mother’s knee.Wear their counsel like a winning crown,  like rings on your fingers.

Proverbs 31:26: “She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue.”

Mom’s love

Isaaih 66:13 NIV: As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you; and you will be comforted over Jerusalem.”

1 Peter 3:4: “You should be known for the beauty that comes from within, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is so precious to God.”

A Mom’s strength

Proverbs 31:25: “She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.”.

Mom’s tending to family and work:

^{Proverbs 31:28-31 Easy Read:28} Her children rise up and call her blessed;her husband also, and he praises her:²⁹ “Many women have done excellently, but you surpass them all.”³⁰ Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain,but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.³¹ Give her of the fruit of her hands, and let her works praise her in the gates.

Testimony: My mom lessons left behind great blessings for me. One lesson is to speak up for yourself and learn when to say no. God is still working on me in that area. My mom’s gift was to serve people and she did it gladly. My mom displayed strength up until the end of her life. My mom’s inside was beautiful as well as her outside. Most importantly she taught me how to laugh. She brought so much joy around. She was great company. The attributes in her keeps me going. 

Prayer: “Lord thank you for the Godly mothers and the years I had with my mom. The lessons she taught me just by her being an example always stay with me. God I ask you to continue to make me into the woman you want me to be, a godly woman of wisdom, a servant heart, courageous, loving, and inner beauty.  In Jesus name, Amen.
