Challenges happens to all of us (death, sickness, disease, broken relationships, financial and economic pressure.) Certain events can leave you numb and you will feel like you are at a stand still. The only way to get through the challenges in life is to move towards the purpose God has for us.
Do not stop keep going no matter what obstacles come your way.
.James 1:12: 12 Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him,
Stay connected to God.
Romans 8:38-39: 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Look forward not backwards.
Philippians 3:12-14 NIV 12: Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. 13 Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, 14 I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
Fix your attention on Jesus and the purpose God has for us.
Hebrews 12:1-2 NLT: And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. 2 We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne.
Write down the vision and wait patiently.
Habakkuk 2:2-3:2 Then the Lord said to me,“Write my answer plainly on tablets, so that a runner can carry the correct message to others 3 This vision is for a future time. It describes the end, and it will be fulfilled.If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently,for it will surely take place. It will not be delayed.
Finish Strong.
Matthew 24:13 NLT : But the one who endures to the end will be saved.
God’s purpose we walk toward, in order to move forward.
Prayer: Lord, thank you for brand-new mercies. I look to Jesus to push through challenging times. I remain faithful and finish strong. I look forward, not backwards. Nothing can separate me from the love of God. In Jesus’ name! Amen!
