The phrase came to me by hearing the word of God from an anointed vessel. The person went to London and noticed that many large churches had been converted into museums. Some believers have lost their zeal for God and treat church as a routine. The anointed preacher stated that some believers are lukewarm, and God spits out lukewarm people. The preacher gave an example about a child who was lost. We would search the world for that child if it were our own until they are found. God feels the same way about the lost. A person who is lost means that they are spiritually disconnected from their Creator. Jesus came to seek and save the lost. Jesus is not willing that any should die in their spiritual state, but that all come to repentance. God is like the prodigal son’s father. The prodigal son came to himself after living a reckless life full of sexual immorality, drinking, and spending all his money until he was left with nothing and no one. He went back to his father and felt unworthy. However, his father ran to him, embraced him with open arms, and threw a party for him. We, as believers, should do the same concerning people who are lost. God will show you how to be fishers of people to lead them to Jesus. Heaven rejoices over one lost person coming to Jesus.
Your life is the biggest way to draw people to Jesus.
Matthew 5:16 NIV: 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
Meet the need of the people and share your story that led you to Jesus.
Acts 4:32-35 NIV:32 All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had. 33 With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And God’s grace was so powerfully at work in them all 34 that there were no needy persons among them. For from time to time those who owned land or houses sold them, brought the money from the sales 35 and put it at the apostles’ feet, and it was distributed to anyone who had need.
Walk in the God kind of love.
Jeremiah 31:3 New Living Translation: Long ago the LORD said to Israel: “I have loved you, my people, with an everlasting love. With unfailing love I have drawn you to myself.
Testimony: As I was listening to an anointed preacher about having a passion for the lost God revealed things I can do besides the blog to tell people about Jesus. Normally when I am out of town or somewhere wearing one of my t-shirts, people would stop me to say how they like my t-shirt. God told me that is an oppunity for me to share Jesus.
Thank you, Jesus, for sacrificing your life for me. I repent for treating church as a routine, not thinking about souls that need to be saved. I let my light shine so people can see your good works and glorify our Father in heaven. I go about doing good and walking in love. I share my testimony every chance I get. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
