God led me to Mark 11 earlier this week. I got another confirmation from the prayer group on speaking the word of God and the same scripture. I found the phrase which was in my dad’s tablet full of notes that I keep with me. He has been in his heavenly home for 4 months. I was prompted by the Holy Spirit to use the phrase for the blog. I am grateful for the life my dad lived here on earth. We can make a lot of confessions, however, we also need to obey the word of God. We cannot do one without the other.
We must be a doer of the word.
James 1:22-25 NLT: 22 But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves. 23 For if you listen to the word and don’t obey, it is like glancing at your face in a mirror. 24 You see yourself, walk away, and forget what you look like. 25 But if you look carefully into the perfect law that sets you free, and if you do what it says and don’t forget what you heard, then God will bless you for doing it.
Do not be ashamed to speak the word in faith in front of people. The righteous are bold as a lion.
Mark 11:12-14 NLT: 12 The next morning as they were leaving Bethany, Jesus was hungry. 13 He noticed a fig tree in full leaf a little way off, so he went over to see if he could find any figs. But there were only leaves because it was too early in the season for fruit. 14 Then Jesus said to the tree, “May no one ever eat your fruit again!” And the disciples heard him say it.
Have faith in God and believe what you say will come to pass.
Mark 11:20-24 NLT: 20 The next morning, as they passed by the fig tree he had cursed, the disciples noticed it had withered from the roots up. 21 Peter remembered what Jesus had said to the tree on the previous day and exclaimed, “Look, Rabbi! The fig tree you cursed has withered and died!”22 Then Jesus said to the disciples, “Have faith in God. 23 I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen. But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart. 24 I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours.
Faith works by love. Any unforgiveness, selfishness, anger, or bitterness blocks the blessing.
Mark ll: 25 NLT: 25 But when you are praying, first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against, so that your Father in heaven will forgive your sins, too.
Testimony: I have been speaking about 2 Corinthians 9:6-8 about giving generously, cheerfully, & not by force. God then blesses abundantly, having all that I need so that I may abound in every good work. God told me where to give and each check I received has increased, allowing me to give more into the kingdom. I made my confession that adamsfamilyinspirations.org is abounding, and people’s lives are changed. I received an increase from my website this week. God’s word is true, and when we hear, speak, and be diligent/consistent, and do what the word of God says, we see results.
Prayer: Thank you, God, for speaking into existence creation, and creating me in your image and likeness. I am a doer of the word, not just a hearer only. God put a check in my spirit when I am not walking in love, so your power can flow through me. God, I have faith in you because you are the one who is working through me. I speak and believe what I say will come to pass boldly, so others can see how good you are. Thank you for sending Jesus as an example. I am doing greater works than Jesus! I say what my Heavenly Father says and do what he tells me to do. I thank you for the victory in advance! In Jesus’ name! Amen!
